Phil was appointed to serve as the CEO of Merrimac in September 2009. He also is the CEO of Skye Energy Holdings Inc. and Enhanced Agricultural & Renewable Technology Holdings (E.A.R.T.H.) Corp. Merrimac is the prime engineering firm and a strategic partner for both Skye and E.A.R.T.H. Phil also serves on the board of directors of Inflection Energy LLC, an oil & gas exploration and development company.
In 2000, Phil co-founded The Cervus Group & Fund, a company created to respond to the many technology and middle-market companies that are unable to unlock their hidden value as a result of being under capitalized and/or lacking diversified executive experience. Phil has served as president of several companies, both private and public, as vice president responsible for world-wide planning and business development for a Fortune 100 company, as the CFO for several private companies and as a partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers. While a partner with PwC, Phil served as managing partner of the firm's transaction support (mergers & acquisitions) practice for the U.S. West Region, U.S. corporate finance liaison with Japan and later as managing partner of the firm's Century City, California office.
Phil received his Masters degree in Management from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and received his Bachelor of Science in Economics degree from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. While at the University of Pennsylvania, he also received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of Arts and Sciences.
John J. Daly

John Daly has served as a consultant specializing in energy, environment and natural resources management. Mr. Daly has been instrumental in assisting the Department of Energy and private sector clients in the development of safe treatment, transportation and disposal of hazardous and radioactive wastes, resulting primarily from weapons production.
In addition, Mr. Daly has advised state and local governments, universities and private sector clients in the areas of energy and environmental planning, decision-making through consensus management and communication of national issues.
Mr. Daly earned his Bachelors in Business from the University of Maryland and his MBA in Business and Finance from American University.
Mark E. Woloski, PE

Mark Woloski is co-founder of Merrimac Associates, Inc. Under Mr. Woloski's guidance, Merrimac Associates operates as a profitable firm with limited debt burden. Mr. Woloski was instrumental in developing the Merrimac approach for "putting technology into the process".
He has over 20 years experience in project management, design, implementation and start-up of instrumentation & controls (I&C) and electrical systems. Along with this, he has 10 years experience in programming on various computer platforms. His experience has been applied to nuclear and fossil power as well as manufacturing facilities.
Mr. Woloski earned his Bachelors and Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ.
David Shaffer joined Merrimac in 1998 and was appointed President and CEO in 2004. Under Mr. Shaffer's guidance, Merrimac expanded its client base and annual revenue. He has over 30 years of experience in project management, design, implementation and start-up of instrumentation & control (I&C) and electrical systems for the power industry. His electrical and control system experience includes system design, implementation and start-up systems for fossil, combined cycle, simple cycle and nuclear power plants.
Mr. Shaffer developed the concept of an integrated project management system for the nuclear, D&D and general construction markets. Prior to joining Merrimac, Mr. Shaffer was Vice President of Delphinus Engineering, a company he co-founded in 1994 and built to over six million dollars in annual revenue.

Jonathan Howard is an innovative, results-oriented manager with broad experience in the power generation industry. He has extensive expertise and a proven track record in project development, engineering, licensing/permitting, construction management, outage management, project management and start-up of new, re-powered and upgraded fossil fuel power plants as well as Back End Technology (BET) for coal fired power plants.
Mr. Howard possesses effective leadership, management and cost/scheduling skills which he has developed and demonstrated through the execution of many highly visible projects.
Mr. Howard earned his Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
